Wellesley Rep in the Boston Theater Marathon

We are excited to have Paul Michael Valley direct WRT company
members Charlotte* and Ed Peed* in Gary Garrison’s 10 minute play:
Sobbing, ,Weeping, and Wailing:  A Love Story
at this year’s Boston Theater Marathon.
It will be great fun for a good cause.

Here’s a bit more about the event from the BTM organizers:
Each spring, the Boston Theater Marathon brings together
New England playwrights, directors, and theatre companies
to create a day-long event that is fun, moving, and always surprising.

Featuring 50 ten-minute plays by 52 New England playwrights produced by 50 New England theatres—in ten hours!—net proceeds from ticket
sales benefit the Theatre Community Benevolent Fund, which provides
financial support to theatres and theatre artists in times of need.

Boston Theater Marathon XXI starts at noon on Sunday, May 19, wrapping up promptly at 10 p.m. with a party to follow! Your all-day pass (regularly priced at $25 in advance; $39 the day of the event) allows you to come and go as you please. We hope you’ll join us!Boston Theater Marathon XXI is generously supported by the Boston University Center for the Humanities.

The event is at:
